Northwest Bank contributes to Preschool Scholarship Fund at CARE for Children

Norm Strotman, senior vice president, commercial lending at Northwest Bank, visited Rainbow Corner Preschool at the Ashley Booth Griffin CARE for Children Center on Wednesday to deliver a $5,000 contribution for student scholarships. Northwest Bank’s contribution will help fund scholarships for the 2025-26 school year. CARE for Children Rainbow Corner Preschool is an approved Pre-Kindergarten Scholarship Organization, through the State of Pennsylvania’s Educational Improvement Tax Credit Program (EITC). From left are Strotman; Kimberly Engstrom, preschool director; and Alexis Close, preschool teacher. Strotman currently serves as a member of the CARE for Children Board of Directors. CARE for Children Rainbow Corner Preschool in Bradford is licensed by the Pennsylvania Department of Education and the daily schedule is aligned with Pennsylvania Early Learning Standards.
