Hatboro Federal Bank announced that it donated $222,222 in grants in 2025 to eleven local organizations that meet the criteria for Pennsylvania’s Educational Improvement Tax Credit Program (EITC).

EITC allows tax credits for eligible businesses that contribute to a scholarship, educational improvement or pre-kindergarten scholarship organization, the bank said.

“Hatboro Federal’s EITC grants provide funding for programs that deliver educational services that are greatly needed in Bucks and Montgomery Counties. Through these grants, we can make a difference for local educational foundations and organizations that benefit children of all ages,” Linda Roehner, CEO of Hatboro Federal, said. “Supporting these organizations helps to develop tomorrow’s leaders – whether through special classes, creative outreach programs, or state-of-the-art instructional techniques – we are helping students succeed both now and in the future.”

Recipients include Big Brothers Big Sisters of Bucks County; Bucks County Community College Foundation; Centennial Education Foundation; Central Bucks Education Foundation, Frederic Rieders Foundation, Hatboro-Horsham Education Foundation; Montgomery County Intermediate Unit; North Penn Education Foundation; Union Library of Hatboro; Upper Dublin Education Foundation; and Upper Moreland Education Foundation.

“Every dollar deposited at Hatboro Federal becomes a catalyst for change; when our customers trust us with their savings, they’re not just banking – they’re building a brighter future for the neighborhoods we call home. We invite everyone to come bank with us and experience the difference,” Roehner said.
